With the knowledge of tile systems and products, we know what works and what doesn’t and we are the ONLY dedicated Tile Consultants that specialize in the field of tile and tile over waterproofing installation in New Zealand.
What We Do
INSTALLATION INVESTIGATION
STSC investigates system to confirm the product compatibility and the performance requirements of the systems and to ensure compliance with the NZBC under sections E2, E3, B2, G4. STSC investigates products, to confirm that the products meet the description and standards that they are marketed as.
SYSTEM INVESTIGATION
We look at all elements from the substrate condition to underlays membranes and tile installation. STSC investigates system to confirm the product compatibility and the performance requirements of the systems and its ability to meet the NZBC under sections E2, E3, B2, G4
SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
STSC also offer onsite documentation of product use, suitability, installation methodology to confirm that all works are delivered in accordance with product Technical Data Sheets and as per relevant International guidelines, this work is performed as an Independent Third Party
TILE INSTALLATION REPORTS
STSC under direction from TANZ is engaged to review tile failures where we see incorrect/inaccurate specifications.poor workmanship, incorrect materials and methods used. A TANZ report offers a specification, workmanship review which covers MBIE, BRANZ and CGA guidelines to give an authoritative review of any Tiling works both large and small.,

We employed the services of TANZ when we were concerned regarding the quality of workmanship of pool tiling at a difficult stage of our new pool construction. When a difference of opinion between the owners and contractor occurred we wanted an independent professional and unbiased opinion to determine the quality of works carried out. Hello Brendon Please find attached a copy of the Disputes Tribunal order that we received today. It is the same result as the first time around! XXXXX Tiling's claim was dismissed and he has to pay us $15,000 in reparation. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amount of time and effort that you have put into our case. It was so helpful to have someone of your expertise and experience to support and guide us through this challenging situation.
